Lahore: Heavy rain accompanied by gusty winds lashed parts of the country including Lahore on Wednesday morning, turning the weather pleasant, TRT reported.
Downpour in different areas inundated few roads and streets in the provincial capital of Lahore and commuters faced immense difficulties while trying to carry on with their routines.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), rain wind-thunderstorm is expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, Upper Punjab and Kashmir.
Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.
Rain is expected in Attock, Murree, Taxila, Fateh Jhang, Talagang, Narowal, Gujarat, Lahore and Gujranwala.
Faisalabad, Jhang, Sargodha and Sialkot are also expected to receive showers with thundershowers.

Islamabad and Quetta twenty-two degree centigrade, Lahore twenty-eight, Karachi thirty, Peshawar twenty-six, Gilgit nineteen, Murree thirteen and Muzaffarabad sixteen degree centigrade.
According to Met office forecast about Occupied Kashmir, the weather in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramulla is expected to be partly cloudy with chances of rain and thunderstorm.
Temperature recorded this morning in Srinagar and Pulwama was sixteen degree centigrade while in Jammu twenty-seven, Leh seven, Anantnag and Baramulla seventeen and in Shopian fifteen degree centigrade.
