Two pilots killed after Indian trainer aircraft crashes in Odisha

Indian Air Force (IAF) faces another setback as its trainer aircraft crashes in Odisha killing two pilots.

According to details, a two-seater aircraft crashed in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district on Monday, killing a trainee pilot and her instructor.

Following the incident, both pilots were taken to a nearby hospital where they were declared dead by the doctors.

The trainer aircraft crashed on the tarmac at the Government Aviation Training Institute (GATI) at Birasala in the district.

Police and rescue officials reached the site where the officials are trying to ascertain the cause of accident.

Reportedly, the accident occurred due to a technical glitch.
